The Conti Complett 66-VD linking machine is a knitting machine used to join the seams of knitted garment elements. The machine allows for quick and easy joining of the edges of knitted pieces, such as sleeves, armholes, body, collars, cuffs, pleats, and tapes - it is essential in the final stages of knitted fabric production. The machine essentially "links" or "sews" the edges of the knitted fabric, creating the final part of the garment. We thread individual knitted elements onto the rotating crown equipped with needles with the right side. The curved hook needle working from the inside of the crown (dial) joins the elements with a chainstitch.
Linking machines are mainly used in knitting facilities for sewing sweaters, hats, and other knitted garments.
The machine is equipped with a large dial with a diameter of 460 mm and a brushless motor with variable speed up to a maximum of 1400 stitches/minute, with very low power consumption (115 watts).
It is suitable for operation in both three-phase and single-phase installations, providing flexibility in use. The possibility of selecting gauges (from 3 to 24) and the direction of dial rotation - clockwise or counterclockwise.
The needle positioning and emergency needle stop systems increase precision and work safety. The VD base and easily rotating foot facilitate the operation of the linking machine, while the rotatable head and stainless steel components ensure its durability and versatility. An optional LED lamp facilitates work in low-light conditions.
The outstanding stitch-formation system (Complett patent) allows the machine to work at the highest speed of 1400 rpm even when using today's difficult yarns such as cashmere, lambswool, nylon, lurex etc.
The Conti Complett 99-VD linking machine, with its reliability, precision, and efficiency, is an excellent tool for companies involved in industrial knitting.
